DP tuner trouble
I installed my F5 switch and chip today and it runs awesome in all the tunes (80econo, 120, and 140 aggressive). However, I noticed that when I switch to the stock program at idle, the RPM's drop really low and it almost sounds like the engine is going to die then the RPM's jump back up higher than normal then back to normal RPM range. What could be causing this? Also, on the 140 aggressive setting, I get no smoke at all. I know I won't get that much because I dont have injectors and everything but i get literally no smoke. Does anyone know why? Thanks for the help guys, and the DP tuner definitely lived up to its reputation in performance.

I wouldn't really call that a problem..
the tuner works by over-riding the factory settings as far as idle speed, idle fuel delivery, timing, etc..
the first time I fired mine off after installing mine, there was a marked difference in how it sounded when it fired...
so when you flip it back to stock program, it's going to take the computer a second to figure out whats going on (the stumble)
and it's then going to respond like it was originally programmed (the flare)

As for the 140 tune not smoking, it should most definitely smoke. It should smoke in 80E 120 and 140, a little darker as you go higher in number but all of them will smoke very well if your trucks HPOP is healthy.
