4,500 Mile Road Trip w/pics.

Well, I am leaving Alaska on Wednesday to move back down to Texas. So I might not be on for a while. Hopefully the hotels have internet so I can get my FTE fix. I will be keeping really good track

of fuel mileage, so maybe I will have a good little thread when I get done. I guess I am about to find out how well my powerstroke will take care of me. That is my wifes dodge. Though yall might like the pics.

Man, I did round trip from Charlotte to Fairbanks in '06, and I thought it was expensive then. I've driven it 20 times and don't know if I ever will again. Is a Dodge grounds for divorce? Make sure you pay for everything in Canada with a credit card if you can, cuz they will screw you with the exchange rate. Good luck. When I was younger it was fun, now at my age it has turned into work.

Yeah, it is a long one. I made the trip up here about three years ago and I thought it was expensive then. I am gonna hate all of the fill-ups, but I am still looking forward to the drive. My wifes truck is paid off and it is really nice so I don't think I can divorce her over that one. She always complains about the money I put into my truck even though I have spent a lot more on the dodge than on mine. Women?

You could load them into your gallery and then put them in the thread. That will reduce the size. You can also open the photo in MS Paint and click image then resize, and it will allow you to reduce the photo.

Have a safe trip.

I'm not sure of you're route, but if you need a pitstop in Colorado, feel free to hit me up. I'm renting an 1800-sqft house and only really using 1 bedroom. I've got an inflatable mattress in a spare room, and you're welcome to it. It'll help save the cost of a hotel room at least. I live just north of Denver in Westminster. I do have 2 dogs at the house, so if you've got pets, we'll just have to work something out. I'll PM you my phone# and address.
