I recently purchased some clear corners and finally got around to installing them this memorial day weekend. When I read the manual it said there were some metal clips to remove the headlight assembly.
So I found the clips and was able to easly remove the clip on the passenger side assembly closest to the tire with no prob. But the other metal clip toward the radiator is a little more difficult b/c it's almost a vertical leverage. I feel like that if I put any more force on the tab that I am going to break it. Anyone have any suggestions?
You won't break the clip, just keep fighting it with a pair of needle nose and a standard screwdriver and it will eventually oblige. Some four letter words helped when I did it. Wiggle it side to side and try to 'walk' it up off the plastic stud. Good luck!
