2002 Screw stereo

Please help I am want to get some suggestions on what subs to put behind the back seat? I know that I can get a custom box made for this but I am going to build it my self. any way I am thinking of running a couple of 10's. I am just looking for good sound. I like bass alot but I need something that will sound good with rock as well as hiphop and rap. I am looking at 2 mtx thunder 10's any opinions on these. I have not done stereo system for a long time and need some help. Please give me opinions on what to throw in this truck. I am on a budget but want some decent sound. Also what amps do you recommend. I hav the mtx 5500 12 sub and its great it does good with rock and hip hop also the the 10 may hit a little harder beign they are smaller and have less area to reflex so they should hit lower notes a little better. hope this helps

I'm currently running a single 10" Rockford Fosgate Punch 3 Shallow Mount sub. Hits great only problem is that the sub touchs the floor in the current down fire box looking into getting a custom enclouser made so help with that. I listen to everything and the sub sounds good when not hitting the floor. I'm running the Infinity 1300 amp which puts out about 300 watts RMS at 2 ohms nice amp decent price. If your looking to stay in a budget and you want to get the best stuff you can in that budget go with e-bay for you purchase. I normally get brand new sub for 1/2 the price at your local retailer.
