I was wondering if Centennial park near Columbia would be a good place to have this GTG. Lots of room and its pretty nice there. Any suggestions?

 

I might be able to join you guys if the location you chose ends up fitting.

 

Do we need to bring cooking equipment to Centennial Park ?

 

I think I may be able to make it, money is a lot tighter now that I lost my job tho, and with firemans convention the 14th-18th I'm not sure when I could make it............. but I'm in

 

im pretty sure we would have to bring our own grills. i dont think that they have them there

 

I'm game for this: Anyone else? - Besides Dave, Paul and myself?

 

Here is some info on the park if interested
The park is comprised of 325 acres, open from 7 a.m. to dusk or as posted.

You may use the picnic tables and cooking grills and playgrounds located throughout the park on a first-come, first-served basis.(Personal grills and hibachis are not permitted.)

Park regulations prohibit hunting, firearms, swimming, sailboarding, wind surfing, and inner tubing. Alcoholic beverages are allowed only in the pavilions by permit. Leashed pets are allowed in the park but not in picnic, playground or sports areas. Howard County law requires owners to clean up after their pets; Mutt-Mitt dispensers are located in the park. I'll second, and suggest the date of Saturday,June 21

 

We leave for Alaska the very next morning...I won't be able to make THAT date.

 

Ok Gang, It's cut and paste time. Whom ever is coming to the June meet at
Centenial Park on June 21st add yor name and maybe something you can bring
hamburgers, weenies, tator salad, macanony salad. Maybe a little earlier than 3
though.
