RexInPA is starting off with a positive reputation.
2002 E350HD Diesel Emwergency brake adjustment

My 02 E350 super duty's emergency brake is in need of adjustment. It won;t hold the truck on a hill. I can't find where this is done. Any help? Thanks

It's done at each rear wheel. On the backing plate there is a rubber plug. Remove it and use a brake spoon to turn the star wheel on the parking brake. You want to turn it until the wheel drags, then back off a little.

I have disk brakes in the rear...no place for adjusting that I see

I think that a brake shop is your next choice.

My '02 E350 is just like yours, with disc brakes on the rear. What I wrote above is how I afjusted my parking brakes.
