Question Rusted Valves

Hello, I have a pair of D0OE 351 heads that have had water sitting in the intake valves for a few months apparently. I was wondering what I could do to clean them thoroughly? It has only been a few months, not years or anything, so I am hoping it is salvageable. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Derrick

If you have a valve spring compressor, pull the heads down and keep track of the valves where they came from.

Scrup them with steel wool, and the seats, Brakleen them and the ports down and then re-assemble them....

Or if you don't wanna do all that, just soak them in Marvel Mystery oil and run the thing....

What kind of shape are they in otherwise? If they are old used parts I would dismantle them as Boba suggests, but clean them up with a fine wire wheel. Then I'd lightly lap them in with fine compound, and check their seating (especially the exhausts). Insure they're not too loose in the guides and put new umbrella seals on.
