Howdy fellow Pennsylvania Chapter members , hopefully you have recently received the E-Mail about the Mid-Atlantic Ford Truck Club get together in Carlisle coming up in August. As stated in the E-Mail, it is beneficial to register before June 1st. before the price goes up , save on daily entrance fees along with the benefit of being able to park in the show field and sitting under the tent. Anyone who has been to Carlisle in August knows how hot it can get and a shady area is great to have . We can also B-B-Q and bring in our own coolers and chairs, that saves a ton of cash not having to buy vendor food or drinks. You also save quite a bit on entrance fees and parking along with being able to hang out with a group of the strangest truck lovers around s. I would be a little perplexed if you didn't take advantage of the cheaper rate. According to glruff (George), not "Delaware Chapter Leader George", but newly crowned "Moderator George" if enough members sign up under the club there may be some sort of added discount when we get there. We also have the opportunity to win the club participation trophy, Delaware has already done the Mid-Atlantic region proud by bringing home the participation award and 4 individual awards for their trucks when they where at the All Truck Nats. in Tennessee. Pennsylvania has a couple of hundred registered members in our chapter, so it shouldn't be a big deal for us to smoke the competition. "Special" for every Pennsylvania member that registers under the Mid-Atlantic Ford Truck club you will receive a free chapter decal for your rear window, or whereever you wish to put it.
