super 6.8 is starting off with a positive reputation.
More Power in Third Gear?

Has anyone else noticed the 3v auto trucks seem to pull harder in 3rd gear than when in 1st or 2nd?

It is especially noticeable at wot. Seems like 1st and 2nd may be holding back some.

I think that's the torque-limiting setup in the PCM - it keeps it from spinning the tires, basically. Various people have tuned around it, and gotten good results.

I've been wrong before, I'll be wrong again. Just wait and see.
