Fuel pressure regulator?

Well My engine is throwing a code I know why.... my o2 sensor is covered in smut lol but thats not the problem.

My problem is the idle runs extremely rich and it acts like its dumping WAAYY to much fuel into the engine. I mean this truck gets 10 miles to the gallon now.

It wasnt always that way.

My symptoms.... Lopes at idle, can't press gas pedal past 50% will die at idle under load. Will die on highway under 51%-100% load. Black smoke (fuel) Smokes really bad at idle.

It would do this in the past but it would only be episodes. Kind of like my truck having a period. Shes a fistey one.

Now shes completely biting my head off everytime I drive lol.

I took the vacuum line off the fuel pressure regulator but it did not change a thing.

Well now sense its been idiling rough the fuel pump doesnt shut off.

I can hear the intake sucking really loud at 50% and if I try to press anymore it runs rough and dies.

Weird eh?

So do you think its the fuel pressure regulator? The intank fuel pumps work.. The fuel pump works.....

I am going to pinch the fuel return line tommorow. And see if that does anything. I will update everyone. Untill then. all advice is sure welcome!
