Autolite 2100

Anyone ever put an Autolite 2100 on a Flathead? Has the higher CFM, supposedly the best carburator ever built and a WHOLE lot cheaper than a Holley 390. I was thinking of making an adapter plate to fit on the stock manifold. Anyone try this? Does the stock manifold have a CFM limit?

Susposivly the most cfm the flathead can handle is 390.
