at 200 bucks an hour labor rate it costs 5 dollars for the guy to stand up and sit back down, 10 dollars to go to the back and pick it up, and 7 dollars for union fees. the rest, is the cost of the filter.
What's wrong with the FRAM I just put one in for like 13.00 and it fits nice and snug.
Their AIR filters aren't bad, I use them myself.
Their oil filters do NOT have as much paper filtering media as other similarly priced filters. You can buy MotorCraft oil Filters for $3.38 or so all day long from wal-mart. The Plain Fram filters cost at least that much, the Tough Gards cost more, the high mileage cost even more, and the extended protection is a rip off, and I don't think any of them are better than the motorcrafts.
