i hear ya on the gas tank deal.. for the first time in the Expedition's history, cost me a C-note ($100 bill) to fill her up on Sunday.. then the damn convenience store had the nerve to charge me $4.77 for a gallon of Milk!
That sucks... I seem to recall when gas prices settled in around the $2.00 mark, people were saying it could be worse, we could be running cars on milk at $3/gallon. Now look where we are!
I am really looking forward to a 600 mile drive on Friday!
Rob, I'll be curious to see what you pay for gas out there. I'm taking the family to Estes Park, then up to Wyoming at the end of June. I'm sure diesel will be $5.00+ by then.
Pat - talked to my folks last night and dad had paid $4.25 on Sunday for diesel... good thing, he said it jumped to 4.35 the next day.
The mountain towns always kill you on gas prices. It used to be Wyoming was always 10 - 20 cents a gallon cheaper than Colorado, but I haven't driven through there in a couple years.
