Archived SoCal & Hi Buy/Sell/Trade Ads
Anybody in the San Diego area have any stock wheels or anything cheap they want to get rid of, so I can put a cheap set of pizza cutters on. I'm getting transfered to North Carolina, and I can't see driving all the way there on 38" TSL's.

Any So cal people want to buy my projects?
Well something has come up and now my 78 project looks like it has to go. I figured I'd see if anyone here local is interested..
I recently purchased a 1978 F150 Supercab from someone out of state. I have only had it for a few weeks. I have had some opportunities come up for something else in my life and I won't have money to fix this truck up the way I like.. Here's the deal with both trucks
1978 F150 Supercab 4wd with the 400 motor and C6 trans. 49 state smog.
It starts right up and is driveable. It does need some work. The power steering it rough and the brakes are soft. The radiator is leaking antifreeze where the tranny cooler lines connect. The body has rust and there is a rust spot in the floor on the drivers side. The truck was manufactured in Kansas so it only has to comply to the 49
1975 F150 Supercab 2wd. Motor is unknown. The heads have been taken off and are in the back of the truck. The body is in excenllent shape. Has been prepped and is ready for paint. Missing the windshield. Radiator looks fairly new (can be used to swap into the 78) This was given to me. I am waiting on the pink slip.
The 1975 has $1,000 in back registration that I am not going to pay. I have spoke to the Highway patrol, BAR, and Consumer affairs about swapping the body. They stated that it can be done, and it will still be registered as a 1978.
I wiill entertain any reasonable offer.. Not looking to get rich, just recoop some money for another endevor..
Here is a link to pics of the 1978

My brother has a 72 Supervan E200 that he would like to let go as a parts vehicle. Everything works great but the body is plagued with rust. It has a strong running 302 and a rebuilt C-4 transmission (3k on trannie). The front end has been rebuilt as well.
It is in Gardena Calif. Not sure what he wants for it but I am sure that he doesn't want much. Mostly just wants to let it go to someone who will keep some of the parts on the road. You can drive it home, no problem. Tis a good truck, just rusty. He has owned this van since it was almost new so there is some sentimental value there, where he doesn't want to see it go to the crusher. PM me if interested.

For Sale: Manual 4x4 Hubs for Bronco or F-150
A set of used Superwinch hubs to fit the light duty Dana 44 front axle. These will replace the five screw automatic hubs without any modifications, 10 minute job. Three screw automatics require a nut conversion kit, not included. Superwinch hubs are all-metal, aluminum outside and cast iron inside. I still have the original box and instructions.
They are in Redondo Beach, $20 if you can pick up. $30, plus UPS charges to ship.

I've got a '71 F250 CS for sale in San Diego (Solana Beach). I'm selling it as a parts truck, though it is restorable -- it's just a project I don't have time for. I have some parts for a serious 390 (+.030) that I can sell with it, as well as some nice spare alluminum wheels. The original engine runs, suggesting the associated parts have life left in them, but the block is too tired to rebuild. I'll sell it cheap to move it; private me for details/pics.

Wanted: Expedition in the greater LA / SoCal area
Hi, I'm new to this forum and I hope this is the right way to place my search-ad. I didn't find an alternative to "post reply" to this thread.
I'm planning to buy an Expedition by the end of September. Usually I take rentals when I'm in LA (I'm from Europe). But now I have two longer stays ahaed and buying a car will be cheaper than renting. Beside I'd like to bring the Expedition along when I return to Europe next spring.
My budget is limited to a max of $8500 and I'm hoping to find something worth the money. Currently I have three older Explorers ('91 - '94) which I keep in good shape. Ford Trucks and SUV's are extremely rare here. There are only three (3) Expeditions registered and so it's not a big challenge to keep an overview over what's available on our market here - currently none...
Thanks for every serious offer!
