Hey guys.
Well my beat to snot ambulance body is a sad sight haha. i'll keep whats good but she has to go. I'm lining up a 4 door swap, and need to know whats involved. After the Cab swap i'll have a short flat bed with gas tank tight to the cab. ( thinkin bout use'n a us keg). Thanks for any and all help people!

I would have thought someone has done this swap. Regular cab 8 foot box 79 to a 74 King cab. Do the front mounts line up and will the rear mounts be manageable to figure out? I'm not sure if the Frame's are the same. I heard that the earlier frames pinched in about half way back, but not Sure if thats true or partially true.

Where talkin FORD... tis a ford forum. all i know is the one that i'm tryin to get is a 74 F250 4x4 divorced t case unsure of trans. motor is a mitshubisi diesel. Its Red its got 4 Full Doors and a reg. box. If this one doesnt pan out i still plan on using a Full 4 door cab, and it will be a 73-79 model.(unsure if they made them all the way threw those years) Any and all info will be greatly appreciated.

I was thinking he meant a SuperCab.....

But X2 on the 4doors = crew cab

 

I did what you want to do to a 87 f150 4x4, the frame raises
up behind the cab so you have to raise it about 5''
and make a crossmember for the back cab mount.
Up front you will have a rad support issue.
I know i am talking the wrong year .
If you want I can give you more info and pictures.
