A short story
got of work 7 am this morning ,had plans of putting in new speakers in the truck i get statred and here comes the GF she wants to helpwow ok not used to that.. so she helps me get one door panel off and I start wiring in the new speakers (pioneers) she takes off to the other side of the truck and starts pulling it apart I get finished go to help her out she wants to do it by herself, I am thinking this is pretty cool so go back to the other side and start doing the rears get it done shes finished with the front and starting on the back ...1hr 4 speakers inastalled with help so does your other half help with the upgrades, mods,etc ... mine cant wait for the next project Meez think its pretty cool

 

WOW thats great, what's her address I want to send her a plane ticket to do my mods for me.

AND why haven't you signed her up on FTE??????

Hey Renee, could you call my wife? The closest thing she has done to helping with anything auto related is to stand back and yell "Thats not gonna work".

By the way welcome to NM's little spot on FTE!

 

My ol' lady (and yes, she don't mind me calling her that) will help out a bit if asked. Typically stuff like helping me bleed the brakes or hold this wrench or those kind of things.
I bought her a 1965 Falcon about a year ago for her daily driver. She loves the car and has gotten a bit more interested in my hobby since then.

It's nice to see women getting into auto related things, I've always been a bit of a "tom-boy" growing up, been working on cars and trucks since I was 16. I did it because I didn't want mechanics to try to "buffalo" me when I get work done... so I've always tried to do it myself first...
