I need a power source/dimmer function for the illumination on my air bag gauge. Is the light blue/red stripe wire in the back of the headlight switch still the one to tap into on an '06? Any abnormalties when the headlights are on auto? This is not an LED lamp.
Tks,
Bob

I had to take off the light switch in the dash. You need to reach from behind and squeeze the two metal retainers and push it out into the cab. There will be the wires for the dimmer. You will need a volt meter to see which one is for the dimmer.

I thought the brightness was driven by pulse rate not voltage, causing all hot wires to show 12V?
Anyway, how's that '05 doing on 80%?
Bob
The 05 runs great on B80. I have actually been running B100 for the last month. The only problem is that I get hungry every time I start the truck up. It smells like I am cooking some fried chicken.
