Rain-X and bugs

When I come home and pull into my drive way at night I can hardly see out do to the mass amounts of bugs on my glass.
As I'm letting the turbo cool I wash the windshield and remove all the bugs from the grill and my mirrors.
I put some Rain-X on it the other day and WOW!
Lot less bugs and they come off alot easier too!
No more scrubbing for 5min to remove them all!!
Just figured I would share this with everyone else.

Doesn't come as a news flash to me..... I've been using rain-X for over 10 years.

For those of you who haven't used it, he's not kidding. It makes cleaning the bugs off the windshield a whole bunch easier.

I remember there was a consumer watch group that was trying to outlaw
Rain-X when the product was relatively new on the market.
I forget the reason, but it may have to do with claims that you do not need to use you windshield wipers.
I guess the attempt did not work, and with that the company has even more products.

Rain-X is great and I have used it since its' introduction 20 years ago.

I once had my wippers fail when driving 50mph in the center of five lanes of traffic... only for the grace of whomever did I survive!! In the rainy season I will not drive my car without the rainx treatment on the windshield.

Rain X also make a windshield washer fluid. Great stuff, even better when you use it with the original.

We used RainX on Aircraft canopies in the AF. I don't know when they started using it. But I was in 78-86. Outstanding product! I use it to this day on our vehicles.
