Emission Testing

I have 2001 F250 and I bought the truck last July. My tab renewel form came today and I say I have to have an emissions test on the truck. This worries me slightly because my truck has a turbo back magna flow exhaust on it without a catalytic convertor on it. Am I screwed? Is there someway around the emissions test because this is a diesel. I appreciate any advice you may have.

Shouldnt make a difference, since it wasnt till '05 or '06 that they started putting Cats on Diesels. As long as the rest of the engine/exahust isnt moddified too much you should be fine.

Don't you worry about a thang. Unless you have a chip or programmer. Just make sure you are in a stock setting. Nothing to worry about. The cats were acutally installed on the '03's 6.0.

Went through last year, no issues. Got out, cranked the programmer back up and diesel soot all the way down the road past the emmisions place.
