Trailer brake fuse location??

Does anyone have a diagram or a picture of where this fuse is at in a 1995 f250? My brake controller keeps reading "nc" for not connected when I hook up the 7 way to my trailer which has brakes. I even hooked up my truck to a friend's trailer which we know has working brakes and got the same thing. Not sure what is going on here.

I know its in the fuse box under the hood. I checked all the fuses in there and they are fine. There's 2 other fuses just laying inside the box that aren't in anything. The owner's manual states that the trailer brake fuse is a 20 amp fuse but doesn't say where it goes in the fuse distribution panel.

Any help is welcome.

Thanks I found it!

Anyway the fuses are not the problem. Anyone know how I should try to track this problem down. I started at the 7 way RV connector with a test light and found which ones control the left and right turn signals, the lights, and the brake lights. So that's 4 down, 3 to go.

So which ones are left? Is there one to charge the trailer brake battery and one for the trailer brakes?

Here is the list of the different connections for a 7-way plug. This assumes that the plug is wired from the factory. This is the standard setting throughout the industry and is how a new trailer is set up. Your experience may vary.

Looking at the male plug attached to your truck with the notch at the top and going clockwise starting at the first one at about 1:00

Battery--Used to charge trailer battery or to run elec from rig (12 volt hot)
Stop/Right turn signal
Electric brake
Ground
Stop/Left turn signal
Running lights (parking lights)
Center connection--Back-up lights

Hope this helps.

Hey thanks. That helps a lot. Opened up the plug and saw the trailer brake wire wasn't connected. Also found out whoever owned the truck before cut the Back Up light wire (Black/Green) to the connector in the center further back along with the 12 volt hot wire (orange).

The former owner was definitely a hack to say the least. There's a birds nest of wires with just wire nuts on them. Looks like I have a lot to do.

Now everything works on the trailer including the brakes and hopefully the trailer battery will charge when I get the hot wire connected.

Seal those wires well or in a year from now you will be cussing. They will gunk up from the road water and spray. Glad I could help.
