87 F150 clutch problems

I have an 87 f150 4x4 5.0 with a 4spd. manual tranny. i just got it running again yesterday after sitting for a couple years. when i got everything ready to go there was almost no pressure in my clutch pedal. i tried to bleed it like you would any hydraulic system but now my clutch pedal sits on the floor. i went down to the ford dealer and they laughed at me and said "good luck we can't even get those working right". no matter what ive done i cant get any pressure in it. Anyone have any ideas?

Love how Ford supports an owner.

First, check you master cylinder mount. The '80s trucks had firewall flex, and you'll either note a reinforcement in place, or will have to make one, as guess who no longer stocks that part.

It could be in a bind due to the flex, which will hold your pedal on the floor.

Look up under the dash for anything strange looking, like maybe a dead badger wedged in the linkage. (well, it could happen)

See how that goes and then pull the pedal up and follow the motion and look for any issues that were glaring at you before.

Watch out with springs etc, don't pull anything off as you'll have a heck of a time replacing. If the spring is broken you'll find out about that.

I can't think of more, if I was thinking at all. Good luck, more ideas will pour into the site soon.
