VIN Decode needed...

VIN decode needed......I wanna see if its a SCS or not mainly plus whatever else it will tell...Ive tried rthe decoder but it just says its an f350 made in 64 which is wrong as i know the 61-6 trucks very well...If anyone...ND or anyone can help Id appreciate it...its an auction rig and wanna know what I can about them...may also need a door tag decode...if its a SCS which as i recall has a wb of 140"...plus the odd bed is a standout too...
Theres 2 actually...both are 73-7 vintage...no hood letters or bigger grille...one has amber t/signal lenses and other is clear...clear are earlier ones as I recall...were any 350 SCS supercabs made ??? If so what are the prod. figures approxamately...The truck with amber t/signal lenses has a small rectangular nameplate on the fenders forward of the wheel opening and a few inches below the side molding...pic in the preview catalog is terrible so no super great detail aside from it looking to be a clean bronze/white truck

The VIN that is posted is F35JKV49319... 1 is an early(clear lenses supercab and the other has later lenses regular cab, both are 2wd and yes I know I only posted 1 VIN...knuckleheads didnt post both VINS...

Let me know guys ..

If anyone can help, please do as Im previewing tomorrow...

also gonna be looking at a 64 too light hit up front though...

You can't get options from a VIN. All it tells you is the model, engine, assembly plant, and its own numbers.

There are no Supercab SCS. The amber lenses were only on '77 trucks. 73-76 had clear lenses. Oftentimes, it's been swapped in for whatever reason.

F35JKV49319 is a '75 F350 2wd with a 460 built at the KC plant.

While all 1977 F100/350's have amber parklight lenses, they were first offered midyear 1976.

Inused that very decoder...thats the one that told me it was a 64 350 and so on...lol...
I found the door tag decoder...now to get the door tag info...can only preview the day before auction...I thought these 2 were being run through today...its next Sunday...ughh..my bad...but I will be using the decoder though...what kind of things would be extra bonuses on these trucks...i.e. rare/oddball options or option packages...any particular things to flat out avoid...like a certain rear end/trans combo for example or ???

From what Ive heard and experienced before as I had a 76 3/4 ton Supercab...these are pretty stout trucks all the way through with the exception of SC cab corners/rear sides and bed wheel arches...is there anything else ???

Thanks to one and all :-)
