cam in my bronc

ok i really need some confirmation here. the bronco i have is a 95 with mass air, and the firing order is just the standard 302 order not the 351 order. now my question is would the "cam" be a roller or flat tappet? i hear all different ideas and theories on this but i need a solid answer before i tear apart a daily driver. some say its a roller then some say its a flat tappet. i know what the difference is just wondering if it could have either or in it.

thanks,

mike

You don't have to pull the intake to find out. Just pull a valve cover and remove one rocker arm. Then pull out and measure the pushrod.
6.812 = NON-Roller Cam
6.258 = Roller Cam
This is the only 100% positive way to know for sure.
