How are you removing the methanol from the bio before the magnesol cleaning stage?

Sorry, At this point I can't describe the Methanol recovery or the continuous reactor. I have patents applied for both. If the patents are granted OR denied I will then post them.

Thanks.
I was just wondering if it was possible to remove the methanol in a continuous process.
I hope your patents come through for you soon, I would love to know how to speed up the recovery process.

Algae Processor

Hey Don. As soon as I get all the bugs out of this processor, I will probably get bored with it. I am REALLY getting interested in growing algae for BD. I have great interest in the vertical growing process. Have you looked into it and are you interested? I made changes you suggested to my processor today and will try again tomorrow. Tom

Evening Tom. I have a great interest in processing algae for oil. I've done quite a lot of research into the process, and am in contact with others involved. Algae based biodiesel is the holy-grail as far as production goes. Glen's system has solved 3 of the hardest problems, and IMHO has the best chance for success. Buy going vertical the space required is a lot smaller. A closed system solves 2 problems, 1) evaporation loss is reduced significantly, and 2) cross-contamination is almost eliminated.

Most of the work now involves the extraction process, which is something I've been working on in my small way...................

One of the most promising aspects is the use of CO2 producing industries to use the process to reduce their carbon emissions, and create more profit for there stockholders.

there is a new BioDiesel facility going up here in Isanti that is the same continuous flow, methanol recovery design, supposed to be online this fall.

I'll see if I can find the news article.

on edit, here is the News article on the supposed "first ever of its kind process".
