the fronts are very easy..... the grill over the speaker will simply pop right off..... then you will see the 4 screws to hold the speaker in.... as for the backs, i havent tried them yet.

The rears are easy as well. From memory: Pop off the panel next to the window and remove screw. Pop up window control switch and remove bolt and unplug switch. Remove 2 screws from bottom of door panel. Pop off cover inside door handle and remove 2 bolts. Then lift up on door panel. Remove 4 screws holding on speaker and unplug speaker.

That should be pretty much it, but I may be off a screw or 2.

just use a scribe, or a thin screwdriver to hook under the edge, then pull it straight out.

I believe you can fit 6x9s. These questions get asked every couple weeks. Try a search. Most people put components in the front doors. I'm just waiting until I have extra cash to upgrade mine speakers.

there's room but you need a dremel and a drill, and a lotta patience... just stick w/ 5x7s IMO. plenty of good high end choices.

Wal-Mart carries some Pioneers that are specially sized for the Fords so you don't have to drill or grind.
