I just bought a real clean 76 dually 350 with a flat bed. However, the rear spring hangers are rusted out. I checked with local dealer and he said not available through ford also looked on internet and couldn't find any. LMC has rear hangers for a 250 but not listed for a 350. My question is would these be the same? anyone know where I might find some? What is the difference between the 78 and 76's he said the ones he has would fit a 1980 truck and work on a 78??? Any help would be great.

 

I belive they are all about the same, the worst that could happen is you would half to drill new holes. As far as finding them try your local junkyard.

 

if my memory is correct, Most all ford trucks through 1 ton had the same spring hanger bolt pattern up till about 96. The major thing to make sure of is to get the correct spring width either 2 1/2 inch or 3 inch.

 

Thanks for the info. I got a tracing of the one that they have at ford and was going to match up the holes to see if the fit.
