overhead consol wiring

hi,i have a 2003f250.i want to instal the overhead consol.i have the complete consol,wiring harness and temp sensor.what im looking for is locations of the plugs to plug this in.where does the temp sensor go.it has only a short warnes with it.the other is long with several plugs.any help would be great

If you could post a picture of what you have it would probably help a lot. I'm guessing since you said the one harness has several plugs it was probably for a truck that had cab lights, as I believe they plugged into the same harness. The plug at the very end should run down to the passenger side kick panel in front of the door and below the dashboard. There should be a matching plug in there. I am not familiar with the temp sensor wiring, but I do know it is normally mounted up in front of the radiator behind the grill. There are a few threads in this forum about adding the overhead computer, you might try doing a search to see if you can find more help.

For the main harness, beerstalker told you spot on. For the temp sensor, the truck won't have that sensor preinstalled, but there should be a spot to mount it behind the grille. I have a picture in my gallery if you want to look at that. I believe you will need to run the two wires yourself. You might find a harness, but I would just wire it up.
