Flowmaster 10 series muffler, it is a single chamber muffler.

there are other makers the exact same muffler for cheaper price such as a cherrybomb extreme about 20-40 bucks cheapers. just saying even though you wanted only flowmaster.

You want it as loud as possible? Straight pipe should do that........

The "sounds cool" factor will probably get old real quick with the setup you're thinking of.
I have a Borla muffler with a side exit (Lighting style) and it almost sounds stock at idle and under smooth acceleration, but it really sounds nice and deep when I stomp on the gas (not very often, with gas prices lately).

Yep, just leave the cats and remove the muffler and install a piece of pipe.

One problem with turn-downs is the soundwaves will bounce off the ground and back to the floor of the truck, which may cause some annoying vibrations. But since you're after loud exhaust, shouldn't really matter in your case. Also, turndowns can cause mositure build up under the truck, may or may not be a concern depending where you live and rust problems. Also, the longer the pipe, usually the louder the exhaust will sound. Shorter pipes usually give you that raspy, crackle to the exhaust sound.

another reason is that it is easier to install and you cant see the rust on turn-downs

you may not see the rust, but it's still there.....go with stainless if you can afford it.
