I'm not sure what the "T" is. If it's a automatic, its probubly an AOD. (automatic over drive) They changed to E40D (electrictronic over drive) right around your year, so it could be that. You can tell the differnce by the driveshafts. If the rear shaft is obviously longer than the front, its the AOD. (On the E40D they are about the same length)
The gears are 3.55 stock. It will cause trouble if they only changed the rear diff gears and you run it in 4x4 on hard surface.
