Supercharged small block in a unibody

Has anyone ever put a roots style supercharger under their unibody and if you have, did you have hood clearance issues. I am seriously considering this kind of setup and just want to know all I can.

Seen this topic on the FE forum but it was based on a FE power plant (352-428) and there were issues. Search blower there it should yield the thread/s Freightrain(Larry) was the one who had done some measuring and figured there needed to be cutting at the firewall IIRC.. but I have CRS often enough.
