uploaded more pictures. I left about 1:30 got back to Nashville area about 4:00ish.
57F100 sorry I missed your request. There were some slick ones there.
Imlowr Saturday was the best day weatherwise probably mid 70's I would guess.
Attendance wise compared to last year I cant say because I did not go last year. I will say the bigger Parking lot area was not full. IF you estimate maybe 30 parking spots per row. I would say you probably fill 6 rows down in that area. Then there were probably another 100-150 pre 72's there not including the cars. Im no math scholar but if you all recall at the Grand in Pigeon Forge you had 6 rows in front of the hotel. Let's say on the high side 30 parking spots per row. So you have 180 there. Lets stay up in the grass you had another 50 which I dont think was possible. Then the parking lot in front of the convention center you 5 rows because vendors took up the 6th row against the river. Again on high side 30 per row there you have 150. Let's say you had a 100 in the aisles and crooks and crannys around the convention center itself. Let's say up by the bank and alongside the front of the hotel area you had another 100. That's 100, 100, 150, 50, 180. Guys in my book that's about 580 - 600 . I never Really grasped the notion or idea of there being 900 plus @ show. I must have missed them. Forgive me for the rambling and jumping WAY OFF TOPIC but I always struggled with statement "Over XXX trucks here at the show". Must be the crazy Indiana math schooling I got way back when.

Thanks for the additional pics Tacson. One year, I'll have to attend (if they keep the show going). I heard rumors that this was the last year for the Supernationals and that's why I'm curious if they had a good turnout. With several trucks showing, that would encourage the show to continue for years to come. My other concern was the cost of gasoline and the impact it would have on trucks showing up. I've noticed a big decrease in cars and trucks in the past few shows I've attended, which is sad. Gas prices won't stop me from enjoying my hobby. Thanks again for being there and providing us with the great shots.

From what I understand is that the show was bought out by another company and is no longer in the hands of Pat Ford he will work with Dennis Carpenter. The show will still be the F100 Supernats but will include Ford's of all years. I will upload the flyer ASAP but we are still in Tenn and will not be back till later this week. Hope this helps with some of the gossip.

Everything chloichina says is true. Also I picked up one of the registration forms for next year and the PRE-registration is now due by March 15th and the price is $40 and $50 after March 15th.

Actually, the few shows that we have attended this year since I got my truck on the road have been record numbers. We went to one yesterday and the folks said it usually has around 60-80 vehicles, there were 108 this year.
That's encouraging. I went to the National Street Rod Association Appreciation Day show today which is usually one of the best shows for the year. My guess is there was half of the cars that there was last year. Chip Foose was there last year as special guest, this year nada. Of course, we're experiencing 100 degree + temps today here in CA, so that may be one reason why not too many came out.

I made up my mind several years ago, not to go until I could take my own truck. Obviously, it'll be a few years yet before that happens, so thanks for posting the pictures for us guys that don't/can't make it.
Also thanks for posting the pictures of Kevin and Andrew. They both helped me out with a dash a couple of years back. (Kevin helped him cut it out of the Andrew's donor truck). I remember when Andrew started on this board - he was about 14 and real great kid. It is good to put a face to a name.
Good to meet you tacson. You took some nice pics. I always have a good time at the nats, even a bad day at the nats is better than good day at school. Wait to see what next year brings,
ferguson, hope to see you and the truck sometime before I turn 30

Donald, thanks for sharing the pictures of the Supernationals. From your photos there didn't seem to be many trucks. If I had taken 267 photo's, I would have 267 different trucks. Don't get me wrong mate, your photos were great to see. I am also glad I didn't choose to come over for the event it looks like a bit of a let down. I hope the Western Nationals would be more interesting when I adventure over. Anyway thanks again for sharing your pics. cheers Aussie 53
