Need help removing 2000 Ranger 4WD hubs (plastic/screen ones)?

I have a constant squeaking sound on both sides and at 93K miles, I figured the bearing are due to repacking or replacement. I checked my Hayne's manual and it does not show me how to take off the plastic/screen caps on the front hubs. Beyond that it goes into detail but the plastic caps look like they could break easily and I don't need to spend more to replace them if possible.

Is there a illustration or instructions somewhere on how to take these off. Also what kind of time frame am I looking at on getting to the bearings on the model? Thanks!

I checked through most of the thread. People talked about how bad the pulse vacuum hubs are but nothing on how to remove them and reinstall them. I might have skimmed over it but i didn't see anything.

I thought I remember it on there, but I may be wrong. Let me dig around some more.

Looks like there are no serviceable bearings in there anyways. If the unit squeaks, you have to replace it.

I have no idea about that stuff! Just figured on getting you the info! I will be getting into mine this summer, but have a few other things to fix first.

Thanks all for the help. The original intention was to check the wheel bearing to see if they were worn/dry. As it still looks, it's easier to replace the unit once remove than buy all of the o-rings/washer/seals to "rebuild" the OEM unit and put it back in.
