Batt. went dead, anyone else?

I went to start my 06 FX4 today, and it did not start. It has only sat for 6 days and I don't think anything is draining the battery. Has anyone had this problem??? Thanks

I had it happen to my Fusion when it sat at the airport for 2 weeks. Gotta' love the newer batteries...They either start, or they don't.

Did you take it to the dealer for a replacement or after charge was it ok?

Is there an "in-between?" The engine is either running or it's off. Right?

I got an 06 F150 and had the same thing happen about 2 months ago. I jumped the battery and have not had it happen since. Everything was off so I never found out what caused it. It had sat for about 3 days.

Ford Fx4 is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
I have a 06 F-150 and have not had any problems with mine (starting in -20 during the winter)....although mine has the little red ball showing indicating the battery is bad but after having O'reillys check it, it shows good.....

Yes child, older cars without all the electronic crap would at least give you an attempt at turning the engine over when the battery seemed to be "dead".

Don't talk to me like I'm dumb.

i had the same problem with mine.... after 2 checks at the stealership, they said it was fine, despite the fact that the viewer window was red.... well, i finally said screw it, and went to walmart and spend 75.00 on a new one..... no problems since !!! plus, walmart has a 3 year warranty on their batteries, with NO QUESTIONS ASKED.... wish i could say the same for FORD.
