Label on Valve cover end.

Paper label on each end of the valve cover has number. FK270AA and in much smaller print 11-16-84 which I assume is the date of assembly.

Engine is apparently an '85 Econoline 300 cu in six someone installed in my son's '66 F100. We replaced the leaky valve cover gasket and then degreased the engine.

Mean anything?

Numberdummy may be by to solve this mystery. However, I don't think it means anything that really matters.

Usually those paper tags were for emissions & tuning information. Depending on how the engine is set-up in the truck (newer ignition/carb in the older truck, or if the engine ignition/carb was from the original engine), it may not matter.
