Ideas for project

So I have this 1995 Aerostar van. It was a passenger van, but I yanked the back seats and seat belts and put in a bulkhead and some cabinets and shelves. The headliner in the back is kind of crapped up, and the carpet is o.k. though pretty dirty (no holes or tears or big stains) The rear interior body panels have been removed since they were pretty crappy. I do still have them too.

I considered selling it, but loath the process, and figure I'd get more out of it by driving it.

Long story short, I got a lovely E250 and transfered all my tools and stuff to it and am no longer using the Aerostar for my business.

It is still in nice shape, runs well enough, and unlike most of my other vehicles, the "Check Engine" light is not on. (I really hate catalytic converters grrrrrr)

I still have the seats, and seat belts and the associated hardware if i want to put them back in. But I was thinking, it might be a nice "project" vehicle.

Just thought I'd put it out there, if you had an extra 1995 Aerostar and you could do anything what would you do?

Just looking for ideas and suggestions...

With gas prices going up, I am surprised that you transfered everything to an E-250, I would have thought you would have done visa-versa.

Anyway, why not turn it into a camping rig. Sense the interior is gutted, get some new carpet, put in a bed, maybe a stove and some cabinets, and a good stereo system.

Just my .02.

As a mobile locksmith, I just outgrew the Aero. I could not fit enough stuff in it. And a 2003 e250 with 37k miles on it, that appears to have been handled with kit gloves (for $10k)was too much to pass up.

I'd add auxially heater by webasto. If you have bed inside to go to picknic it is nice to have heater to sleap inside. DVD, TV are good too.
