Does this price (truck) seem way too cheap?

Hard to say now a days. I don't neccesarily think it's too cheap, depends on the market out there. Trucks are moving very, very, very slowly here.
Maybe it's the way trucks are in WI. I flew out there last year to get my latest one. Great truck and a great deal! Find out if it was an auction truck or not, and don't just ask them. They can show you the title, even if they don't want to reveal the name of the person (not that it is private info at all BTW). If it hasn't been reassigned by another dealer, it isn't a wholesale or auction truck. Not that they are neccesarily bad. Just means that the person traded it in and did business with the dealership, and the dealer wanted the truck. (or hit the guy so hard on the head they're still laughing about it!)
Oh, and it's never TOO cheap. It can always be cheaper. My truck was originally 21,500 on the lot. They were asking around 19,500 on ebay. I got it for 17,100 off their lot. Cost to go and get it of course, but it was a great trip back through WI and Chicago!

Yeah, one truck nightmare is enough lately!
Don't forget the normal stuff, carfax, oasis.
My dealer was nice enough to send me great pictures of underneath of the truck and the engine, in addition to ones already on ebay. It had a problem with a rear caliper bolt and they fixed it right away too!
What the heck,
Gagne Ford
Smallest Ford dealership I've ever seen.

The truck has only been in once for a faulty wheel speed sensor. That was back in Dec. '05. Other than that the OASIS is clean...
As aldridgec mentioned, the pricing could be due to the current market. The market is saturated with used SD's which are not selling. Dealers do not even want them on trade-in and when they do, you would be lucky to get more than wholesale/auction value.

Looks like it may be a good deal. A closer look reveals that it has dual exhaust. A single CD player with aftermarket speakers in the door, so it may have had an amp and sub box before being traded. It has tow command, but no upfitter switches. Can't see in the bed because of the cover, might have a 5th wheel or gooseneck hitch. The tires have been replaced and have a lot of weights on them. The cheesy plastichrome handle covers are easy to remove. Worth a closer look I'd say. That truck would have already been sold here in south Texas.

Its worth doing some homework on for sure. They might just be trying to get rid of it. Gas price/economy does play a role for sure. My roommate could not give his '02 V10 4x4 away. Only 40K and he had people only offer around $10K! Big trucks are going for less then Blue Book Value.
It very well could be a great truck. check out every inch of it and then make your decision.

Its a buyers market right now big time for vehicles with relatively low mpg and with current high fuel prices . the dealers inventorys are oversaturated with these used suv/ trucks and the market value on these vehicles have dropped at least $5000 minimum in the last 2 months. Dont even think about trading in one these days on a smaller more fuel efficient vehicle, or you will be shocked by how little you are offered as a trade in, if they will accept it at all. If you tried to trade in the same vehicle, the trade in would be $10,000 or less.

I bought my 03 last year and it had just turned over 50,000. If I was looking at an 06,
that would be too many miles, especially on something that doesn't hold its value any way, like the V10.
When you go to sell a car or truck the one thing that really hurts the value is high miles.
The trucks you worked on sound like commercial vehicles. I would consider either one you mentioned extremely high miles if it belonged to an individual and not a company.
Just my $.02 worth

They're not, but I don't disagree. It's all realative! I'm seeing more and more vehicles exceeding the considered "average" of 12,000 a year.
