Block B9AE 60151 is in my '55 F-100. ECZ caps on mains. One website list this as a 312 from a '59 merc.

Just got the Holley type 4BBL intake. Blasted it and painted it ford red hi temp from local parts store and it looks cherry red v the orangy red of the block.

Anybody know where I can find the right paint? and color name?


Plan to put on a Holley 600 man choke (I like man chokes). Motor came with 2BBL, intake red too. But with 4 BBL and the ramshorn manifolds, I hope it really snorts.

I pained mine intake and block not long ago...it actually called orange-red (chevy) paint # is de1607 high temp....get it at the local parts store or walmart..

o'Riley's has Ford red in spray cans. It's about the only place I have seen it in years.

It's just a big chain store. There should be one in close proximity to any AutoZone. There's some kind of rivalry there. Maybe I'm assuming they are everywhere, they are here in the midwest.
