300 with 4 speed Warner

looking for any info on which transmissions will bolt up to the 300 in a 79' F250 2wd , I have a Warner 4 speed bull low, that died on me yesterday morning, I'm having a tough time finding another Warner 4 speed to replace it with.

Any suggestions on the closest match to the Warner 4 speed, I have found a 5 speed just wondering how much work is involved with putting the 5 speed in, or is there another route I can take, looking for a bolt in application trying to avoid cutting drive shaft down to size if I can..

Any help is greatly appreciated !

T 18, T 19, and NP 435 from Fords should be a bolt in.

Call these guys and ask them:

Ontario Transmission Services

I just googled "ontario transmission" and it was first up.

No junk yards with parts search capabilities?

The 5 speeds would require:

hydraulic clutch for the ZF from a Ford, same for the Mazda box. (no low first in the Mazda box.

Adaptor and ds change for the NV 4500.

Possibly cross member change for all.

Found a T18 down the road $100, Came across a small gold mine of parts just a little scrap yard out in the middle of nowhere that has 2 complete 77's 150\250 good doors, front clips hoods, windshields, drive lines...2 79' 250's 4wd\2wd and a couple of 73-79 150's with some good parts and a barn full of goodies ...eg. grills, trim kits. A rare find to stumble across, only 25 miles down the road, spent 3 hours out there drooling over the goodies, like a kid in a candy store, I couldn't believe it !

Had a bone yard locate a T18 2 days away $700 delivered to the shop.

Was told the same thing by a few people, the 5 speed would be a lot of work.. I also have another 300 I6 with a C6 bolted on it thought of even swaping it in instead of the 4 speed, but was told that would be more work than it's worth, so gonna sell of the C6 any I dea what a good C6 is worth ?

Appreciate the reply !

Well, a built hi-po from TCI is under $1000 or so, so a used stocker, maybe $200...???? Talking out my... Well, I'm not a qualified long-distance automatic transmission appraiser.
