zmurphy is starting off with a positive reputation.
I think i have a "blend door" issue; i need some help!

Hey fellas, first, i did search but i couldn't find a thread that was the same issue i am having.

ok, i have a 98 EB Expy w/ 169k. well yesterday it was pretty warm so i turned on the A/C. the controls were set for defrost, so i turned the knob to A/C and the A/C did come on but the air continued to come out up on the defrost instead of on the vents.......... . its still doing it today.

i read through several of the blend door threads and they seemed to be other issues. i would assume this is a blend door issue too, but has anyone else experienced this?

we are planning on buying a newer vehicle as our main family vehicle so i have been thinking about keeping the Expy as my daily driver and parking my Wrangler for the weekends. this could help me make a decision pretty quick.

thanks!

BTW: i did post this in the Expedition thread a few days ago, but i somehow i have been missing A/C thread.
