Anything can be done depending on your bank account.
My guess....it would cost upwards of a few grand. Although, there are those cheap wheel spacers/wheel adapters...but I would never put them on anything larger than a Civic...
I'm pretty sure that's he's talking about the same way you can put an integra 5 lug setup on a civic (4-lug) pretty cheap. You can find the full change over for a honda w/ wheels and tires for about 2k. I'm not a big ford guy... My first one but somebody that knows their **** should be able to tell you if any 6 lug hubs will fit the front... And for the back I'm not sure but you might be able just to get the rear end assembly off a 6-lug... If it works you'll probably have better axles and rear-end afterwards.
I want to change because I like the newer 18 inch stock rims with the black slots. Sure, I know anything can be done for a price, just wondering if there is a cheep way to do it. There are lots of vehicles, such as the above example, where front hubs will swap out that have different lugs and if you buy from a salvage yard it could be done for less than 200 dollars. As for the back, I could have Moser make me some custom axles, but that would be expensive. I might also take off the axles, weld up the lug holes and make new ones in a six lug pattern. Anyway, lots of options, just wondering if anyone had any usefull insights?
The 5.4L trucks still use the 9.75 34 spline axles and the 8.8 uses 31 spline, but I don't know if the length and diameter are the same.
Adapters are really not recommended on a heavy truck for safety reasons.
Thanks LXMan1, now that I know they have the same number of splines, I can try and find out if they are the same lenght. Maybe I can find some specks for wheel base or something that would give me some idea if it's even close.

Are you talking about the FX4 wheels? If so they made them for some of these trucks, just i think they only go up to 17".
