Thumbs up Welcome to two new members- CUlater and Alex332!

Hey everyone,

I want to welcome two new members to our chapter, Greg (culater) and Alex (Alex332). It is a great day when you get two requests to join on the same day!

Here is a little about Greg (culater).
I have a 2003 F150 SuperCrew I bought new in 2002. This is the first Ford I've owned. Until this, I've always been a Chevy man. Still like Chevys, but I love this Ford.

Projects- Just gave the truck a new look with a billet grill, Harley heads and Lightening corners. I'm shopping tail lights now.

I grew up and raised my family in Mt. Shasta. Have 2 children and 5 grandkids. Married for 32 years this August. Love to fish. Was injured working in a lumber mill and my wife and I now manage a mobile home in the San Jose area.
Also President of FTW's California Chapter. Not looking to recruit, just looking for more enthusiast to hang out with.
I am curious what FTW is?

Here is some information about Alex (Alex332)

First off my name is Alex, and I'm 19yrs.
I live in a small town called Yuba City.
I currently drive a 2004 PSD 4x4 Crew Cab. 148K miles.
100% stock..for now.
I also own a 1986 Jeep Cj-7. It has a 4in lift with Tera-Flex, Dana 300 Tcase. Dana 44rear 35 front. 33in Swampers.
I'm going to school to be a Diesel Tech.
I enjoy everything related to diesel, I can't seem to get enough of it.
Ill post some pictures of my truck and Jeep in the forum.
Wow... two great 4X4s. I know a few chapter members have a Ford Truck and a Jeep.

Welcome to both of you. We are fun group that gets together every so often to work on our project mud racer (Thumper) and to just have fun. This group is also a great resource to answer your truck questions. I look forward to seeing you in the forums and at get togethers.

Hi guys, and welcome! Greg, I learned to ski on Mt. Shasta back in the late 60s/early 70s, before the avalanche wiped out the old ski area. I lived in French Gulch, west of Redding at the time. I have family up in Siskiyou county.

Cool. I learned to ski there too. The new area isn't as good as the old Ski Bowl. Our daughter, her husband, two grandkids, a brother and my mother still live there.

Don't really have any pictures of the truck. I do have this on that I took when I first got it. I'll take some more over the weekend.

Hey Alex,
There is a member in this group, AJ (Mecinoid) who has a similar jeep. Both your rides are pretty sweet. Thanks for posting the pics.

How do you like you PSD?

Hey, no problem.
I like my PSD I got it used over a year ago with 118K on it, it now has 148K I dirve it about 90miles a day.(mon-fri)
I have not had a single problem with the 6.0L!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, once and a while I hear this squeek under heavy excell.
Lots of torque. I am looking at getting exhaust, gauges and intake
Oil change every 3-4k and I'm about the do the fuel filters here on Monday, along with the t-case fluid.
I havent had the chance to pull the Jeep to the hills with it.
I drove it around town for the summer and took it to the river and messed around nothing big.
The winter really took its toll on it. I didnt have a top ( or time to take care of it ((((
Its been siting in my driveway and I have been slowey working on it. I plan on finishing it this summer.

Hey Alex, I bet if you had a diesel in the Jeep you wouldn't want to get rid of it.

Your right! Dont get me wrong the I-6 along with the 4speed is a great combo! It gets me where I want to go! Never had a problem with getting stuck.
I want to do a Cummins 4BT swap into it. I found alot of them on E-bay.
The only thing holding me back is the money and the tools.

That's what holds most of us back on our projects; money and tools.
