Rear axle swap info for everyone!!!

Some useful info on rear axles.

93 crown vic 64.5" outside hub to hub 28 spline with limited slip or open diff
98 explorer 59.75" outside hub to hub 31 spline with limited slip in the V8 models
07 crown vic 70.0" outside hub to hub 28 spline with limited slip or open diff

I have all three of these rear axles in my shop and measured them from outside hub to outside hub with the disc brake rotors on. These axles are all very cheap and can be had for betweed $150 - $400 depending how resourceful you are. I am going with the 93 crown vic rear axle that measures 64.5" since I have 2007 dodge magnum wheels which will make the wheels tuck in just a hair and with a 3/8" spacer on each side with make them dead even with the fenders edge.

So I just thought I would share this info with everyone in case anyone is looking for a cheap stout rear axle with posi and disc brakes. Maybe is can be a sticky or something who knows.
