FE MSD ignition Q's

anybody here running msd ignitions in their trucks? if so what setup? are you happy with it? what kind of power gain did you get?

I used the MSD 6AL on my '74 highboy, using a '76 distributor (electronic).

I had an 11:1 390 in it, lopey cam, and too big a carb (750 holley).

The MSD made a big difference in cold-start, low-end torque, and throttle response.

With a completely (near) stock motor, I don't know what it would do, although cold starting can only get better with an FE

im putting on a 410 with headers and a 750 demon carb, and soon to come cam.

the demon dont got no choke on it so, cold start improvement would be nice
