I saw a 867,600 mile v10 E350 16 passenger van at the salvage yard today. Just thought Id share the info.

What year is it?

Wondering if it's a 4R100 or a TS

If he could get the vin off it and post it maybe someone could run an Oasis report on it. That might shed more light on the vans past.

It was a 97 and had an auto tranny. Probably junked it because they got more money for the weight in metal then they could sell it for.

I didnt think they had the v10 in 97'. Because my 97' f250 is the old body style and has a 460 in it, but im not sure they didnt have one still even at that it, it is only 11 years old at most. That van was packing on the miles.

The v10 was actually introduced into the E series vans in 97 as an option. Not many people knew that. It came to trucks in 99.

Well, let's don't go overboard.... Its obviously a commercial vehicle and the mileage wouldn't necessarily be on the original engine.

I've seen a couple over 300K and one was an oil change away from 400 and going strong. All of them were worked hard everyday as either a fleet truck or a tow vehicle. It's all in how they are maintained.
