69 f-100 carb swap

i have a stright 6 240 cid with a 1 barrel carb. i bought a carb adaptor that goes from 1 to 2 barrel. any suggestion on what 2 barrel carb i should use.

Well...........I'm very partial to Holleys. Someone else might tell you to get an Autolite?

they all have pros and cons so everybody likes what they like. just shop around and make sure you dont go too big. more cfm doesnt always mean better. get the right size and type that will function smooth and the way it is supposed to.

Red69 is starting off with a positive reputation.
2-barrels are rated at a higher vacuum than 4's so don't be afraid to buy one that sounds a little large in 4v terms. A holley 350 cfm would be ok as an economy/daily driver carb. You could probably run fine with a 500 cfm if you are trying to up the flow though. You could always get you an Offy 4-barrel intake and a 450cfm Holley if you are after performance increases. There is a used Offy for sale at the speed shop here in town and it's all cleaned up.
