Found some toys for the 'star, want to know if they'll fit?

So i was prowlin around the local j/y today, and came accross two aero's with thing's i'm going to snag in the near future: one was a extended sport with running boards, and one was just an awd with....... MUDFLAPS!!! they read aerostar on them and everything.

so i'm almost certain that the mudflaps WILL fit on my van, but what about the running boards? the doner van is a 95.

it's sad, the awd was close to 189,xxx (according to the oil change sticker) and the sport was close to 226,xxx. the awd had a minor rear quarter panel damage on the drivers side, and as far as i could tell, NO damage to the sport, just mileage. oh well.

also, what's a good way/type of paint to use to paint the plastics dark silver from light silver?

The wheel base is the same on both the shorty and extended, so the running boards should fit all vans.

I think there are special primers designed for adhering to plastic trim parts. Just make sure you clean the parts well with wax remover, and buff with #400 sandpaper to give the primer a rough surface to grip to. Then lightly sand smooth the primer with #600. Then you can apply the color coat. You may need to go to an automotive finish shop to find these types of paints.
