Help me identify this ol ford....

Hello every one I got a call from my brother who was making a delivery at a ford repair center in Clovis NM and he said siting in the bay there was a old 60s ford Van/truck. He said it was 4X4 4door and huge. He's not real good with ford years but he said it was a early to late 60s ford.
He asked the guy that was working on it if this was a custom job and the mechanic said no this is how it came from the factory and it was a very rare ford. has any one here ever heard of such a ford? He left his phone in his Rig so he wasn't able to snap a pic of it.
Thanks for any info you can lend

4 doors sounds pretty obvious...vans have at least 5 doors..2 front side, rear slider and rear doors...
This sounds like a crewcab...need a pic of it...if you can...get the door tag info off of it...

That assumes the brother of the poster described it as accurately as you would.

Is this a legitimate question or just a conversation starter? How could anyone possibly identify a truck based on the vague information provided. Give me a break! It could be anything. I would suggest the use of "google" and other internet tools.

Isn't this forum for both??
Excuse me for being curious about what sounded like a very rare and awesome old ford. I"m sooo sorry I high jacked your ford forum..
I'll request the mods to have this thread deleted so it wont gum up your forum.
I'll only come back the FTE with legitimate questions.

What the hell ? I assure you this is not the shared "tude" of the entire FTE membership. However some more feedback would be needed to assist with the request. A pict is worth a 1k words..

Could you post the name of the Ford dealer in Clovis NM?

I'll call and see if I can get the VIN.

I don't think they made the econline as a 4x4...I was just guessing that b/c of the van/truck description. Hard to guess with no pic though.

Theres no 4WD E series as I recall in the 60's period...has to be an F series...and we know there were crews offered I believe starting in 64 or 5 with our series...I believe there were some in the 57-60 era too but am not up on those too much but I have seen one prior...

Anyway...this thread is a good one...if you can get more info and such and lets see if we can make a positive ID on that pup

As for the 'tude...as mentioned above...this is not the shared 'tude of the entire FTE membership...

I wanna know more about this rig :-)
