CD player, volvo install

Has anyone ever done the volvo upside down install kit? I got one and I am having a hard time figuring out how to mount the cd player as I do not see anything I can drill into to, to mount it. I have seen threads on here before with pictures but the search on the forum is not working.

mine is held in by the strap in the back of the cd player.

What did you connect the strap to?

did you bend the ears back that the original controls went thru thoses ears are what you drill a hole into and run a screw thru the plastic tab into the original metal ears, that is what holds the volvo kit solid in the dash then install the din mount into that.
