ok, so what the heck is that supposed to mean??? i did right at 700 to lousiana and back last year, each way set cruise @ 67, and only stop for food, fuel, and crapper breaks. took around 13 hours.

hell, if i can stand more time on the road, then i could probably do it in a day and a half.

And no Problem Spence. I like it up here but as I grow older the winters seem longer and the summers get shorter. Anyway its nice to here from you guys that arent around these parts anymore. Happy and safe travels no matter how you get here. Me I would do the 1400 miles straight through.

I used to make the trip to Myrtle Beach in a little over 15 hours. I am not one to waste a lot of time or stopping a lot. But I like to drive so I dont mind.

My wife hates to ride with me cause I dont like to stop and you know how the women are...ooh lets stop here and shop...I gotta pee...are we there yet. Shes worse than a kid.

yeah, when my girl flew out here in january it was only 3 hours from wichita back up here and she had to stop a FEW times. last summer i traveled a lot with my brother, if not in the same vehicle, we would be together going down the highway (lots of trailering and when there's 2 of them, yikes it sucked). most of the time we just stopped on the road to pee, why bother with a BATHROOM? his wife is worse than i was when i was 6, and that's saying something.
