Larger throttle body

To those who have done the larger throttle body mod, did u run into any areas or concern when porting out the intake?

i know it wont help, but i am curious to try it. to those who are going to ask, i am going to try to put a 302/351 TB on the 300. the stock one is roughly 42-47mm, while the v-8 is 50mm. wont really help on a stock engine, but since mine has some work i figured why not.

I know your broke like most of the rest of us But I'd be interested to see a before and after dyno with that being the only change. There might be a small improvement in either where power comes on or duration of peek power. Without larger injectors and the programming to support I have my doubts that a usable improvement in maximum power will be acheived by this swap.

Not saying don't do it. But if possible do it in a way to show the rest of us what it really does.

Silver Streak is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
I've got a 5.8 TB sitting in the garage waiting to be installed, but I want to do the before and after dyno runs and there's not a dyno in town at the moment.

I have also have a modified upper that's ground out to match the 5.8 TB. I didn't have any problems where the TB actually mates to the manifold, but there isn't much meat at one place in the intake right below the manifold. I took a little extra out of the other side to compensate for not being able to do much in that area. That upper is also a single plane instead of dual plane, so I'm a little curious to know how that's going to affect things. My gut tells me it won't do anything, but you never know.
